Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fluffyn app or website (fluffyn.co.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fluffyn Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Fluffyn", "we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree, do not use Fluffyn.

2. Who May Use Fluffyn

You may use Fluffyn if you are:

  • 18 years of age or older, or
  • At least 13 years old and using Fluffyn under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Fluffyn is available to users in India only.

3. The Fluffyn Platform

Fluffyn is a marketplace that connects:

  • Buyers with verified dog and cat breeders.
  • Adopters with certified animal rescue and adoption organisations.
  • Pet owners with pet food, accessories, and care product sellers.

Fluffyn is a platform facilitator. We verify breeders and adoption partners to our published standards, but the transaction and care responsibility is between you and the breeder, organisation, or seller. Fluffyn is not the seller or breeder of any pet.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to use it.
  • Notify Fluffyn immediately at support@fluffyn.co.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Breeder and Adoption Partner Listings

Fluffyn conducts a 5-step verification process for all listed breeders. However:

  • Fluffyn does not guarantee the health, temperament, or pedigree of any individual pet.
  • You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, including in-person visits and independent veterinary examination before purchase or adoption.
  • Prices displayed are set by breeders and may change. Always confirm the current price directly with the breeder.
  • Fluffyn's buyer protection covers disputes related to material misrepresentation by a verified breeder. It does not cover voluntary returns, change of mind, or third-party transport damage.

6. Pet Products

  • Fluffyn sources products from authorised distributors. All products are authentic.
  • Returns are accepted within 7 days for most products in original, unopened condition. Perishable items may have different terms disclosed on the product page.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Fluffyn is not liable for delays caused by logistics partners, natural events, or other factors outside our control.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Fluffyn to sell or advertise pets or products without authorisation.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, breeders, or Fluffyn staff.
  • Circumvent Fluffyn's platform to complete transactions outside the app to avoid platform policies.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from Fluffyn without written permission.
  • Use Fluffyn for any purpose that violates Indian law, including the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Fluffyn — including the logo, design, text, and code — is owned by or licensed to Fluffyn Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Fluffyn content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Fluffyn's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim. Fluffyn is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Fluffyn shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of Fluffyn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
