Most adoption organisations in India charge ₹0–2,000 as an adoption fee, which typically covers basic vaccination, deworming, and administrative costs. This is significantly lower than purchasing from a breeder, and you're giving a rescued animal a loving home.

Through the Fluffyn app: (1) browse adoptable pets from certified partners, (2) fill out an adoption inquiry form, (3) undergo a basic screening — questions about your home, lifestyle, and experience, (4) schedule a meet with the animal, (5) complete the adoption with the NGO's standard process including a home visit in some cases.

Yes. All adoption partners on Fluffyn ensure dogs are vaccinated, dewormed, and health-checked before listing. Vaccination records are provided at the time of adoption. You will still need to continue the vaccination schedule as per your vet's advice.

Specific breeds available for adoption vary by organisation and timing. While most adoptable dogs are mixed breeds or Indies (Indian Pariah dogs), purebreds do occasionally appear in shelters. You can filter by breed on the Fluffyn app to see current availability in your city.

Contact both the adoption partner and Fluffyn support immediately. Our adoption partners are required to disclose all known health conditions. If an undisclosed condition emerges within 7 days, we facilitate mediation. We also provide access to vet connect for guidance on managing any health issues.

Fluffyn is a verified-only platform — we don't allow unverified private listings. To list as a breeder, apply through the app and pass our 5-step verification process: KCI credential check, physical facility inspection, document review, code of conduct agreement, and ongoing monitoring.
